Western prioritizes funding to organizations that:
• Align with one or more of our four giving pillars: building communities, reconciliation, sustainability, and climate action
• Clearly outline anticipated benefits to the community on their funding application and are able to report the impact post-funding

The following are ineligible for funding:
• Individuals outside of our established scholarships
• For-profit organizations
• Private schools
• Organizations that discriminate based on race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation
• Mass-mailed or non-addressed solicitation
