TFL 6, held by Western Forest Products Inc. (WFP), covers roughly 217,000 hectares on Northern Vancouver Island near Quatsino Sound. The process of review and approval of Management Plan (MP) #11 and determination of a new allowable annual cut (AAC) for TFL 6 is underway.
This Information Package (IP) provides a summary of data, assumptions, and modelling procedures to be used in the Timber Supply Analysis (TSA) for TFL 6 MP #11. The IP outlines the factors related to timber supply and how these factors will be applied in the analysis for the provincial Chief Forester to determine the AAC under the Section 8 of the Forest Act.
